Updated clubs list for Summer 2.
Our new range of clubs have started the year very successfully. Here are some of the highlights from the year so far:
Debate Club meets Professor Brian Cox at the Cambridge Union
Art History Club visited Magdalene College
Running Club are getting active
Lego Club are making gifts for Lego's #BuildAGift charity action
Library Volunteers
Great opportunity to be part of one of the most popular activities of the school! If you want to participate come help in the library during break or lunch time.
Latin Classes
These occur on different days of the week for each year group. Talk to Ms Wilson (Head of Languages) or Ms Radice (Latin teacher) if you are interested in finding out more. Ms Radice's email address: katharine.radice@parksidecc.org.uk
Details of the days and times are below:
Y7 Latin Class - Mondays, 3.10-4pm - open to all
Y8 Latin Class - Fridays, 3.10-4pm - open to all (including those who didn't do Latin in Y7)
Y9 Latin Class - Mondays, 4-4.50pm (the expectation is that those signing up did Latin last year, but if anyone else is keen they should email Ms Radice for more information
Y10 Latin Class - Fridays, 4-5.40pm (open to those who did Latin last year)
Y11 Latin Class - time tbc - please email Ms Radice for information
Music Tuition
As well as the reward of gaining a new skill, learning to sing or play an instrument can help to develop other qualities including self-discipline, confidence, memory skills and coordination. We have a range of peripatetic music teachers at Parkside Community College. If you are interested in instrumental or vocal tuition, please click here to complete a form.
